Welcome to our family blog!
We're the Jesters, a family of five who love to explore, make memories together and now we're venturing out to travel full-time together. We aren't your average family in the since that we are LOUD, goofy and nothin' shocks the shit out of us anymore so we just go with the flow.
First, there's Matt, the ONLY man of the house (unless you count the dogs) and our maintenance man/ handyman. He has a background in construction, HVAC, plumbing and electric. I swear he can fix anything he puts his hands on. I am so thankful for his intelligence for SO many things. It has saved us LOTS of money. He enjoys learning about mycology, fishing and driving his passenger princess of a wife around. At least I am pretty sure he enjoys that last one!
Then there's me, Hannah. Matt's wife and Mom to the Jester girls. I work as a Paraprofessional Educator for an online charter school and homeschool my 3 girls. I love dogs, gardening, being out in nature and I can really get down with a good museum!
Our kids, Gail, Corah and Mabyl, are just as adventurous as we are. Gail is our Hollywood girl. She can name almost every actor and actress in each show/movie she watches and what movies/shows they have played in prior. Her memory for that just BLOWS my mind. Right now she is really into her Twilight books and movies. Corah is a budding artist who loves to capture the beauty of the world around her through her sketches and paintings. In her free time you'll find her gathering trinkets and turning them into something useful or beautiful. Mabyl is our little monster who has so much energy you can see it spilling out her ears. She loves Fortnite and has amazing hand-eye coordination. Her favorite place to be is outdoors doing ANYTHING. If you have a job to do you can count on Mabyl to be right next to you helping however she can. Even if that means just keeping you entertained.
Together, we've started packing our home of 10 years to travel in our 5th wheel and explore the country. We believe that travel is going to be one of the best ways to learn about the world and appreciate its beauty and diversity.
Through this blog, we hope to share our family's adventures and inspire others to explore the world with their loved ones. We'll be sharing tips, stories, and photos from our travels, as well as insights into our family life and the things that bring us joy.
